Mounted Games at Wicklow Pony Club continues to be a very strong discipline
and is very good for all our younger members. Great fun including a range of
fast action games like fastest on horseback around upright poles, riding and
dismounting to run across upright buckets and placing items onto upright
sticks etc. There are a whole load of Games and our season begins with a fun
open day for all usually held at the first mid term break in Feb. Then at
Easter training starts in earnest to select U10 & U12 teams with a view to
competing at Area Qualifiers in June to try and get to the Irish Pony
Championships in July.
Our Mounted Games Teams continue to do our Club proud every year usually
being placed in the ribbons at the Championships.
