Camp day 2!

Well done to everyone for on the first day of our heat wave camp – tomorrow is to be another scorcher please make sure to bring enough water for all children and ponies – riding will start at 9.30 sharp so we can be well out of the midday sun – dressage tests for Friday’s competition are available on line on Irish PC web site – Edwina Ger Helen Lynn Orla Paul and David’s rides will be doing the British Eventing BE 90 Dressage Test 92 (2009) – Derval’s ride will be doing Dressage Ireland Preliminary Test P15 (2012) please print off a copy so you can run through it before Friday.

Please take care to ensure that ponies get washed down as well as watered after rides – during our last HOT camp girth galls were a real problem on even the toughest ponies. The instructors have been asked to keep an eye on ponies and in particular older ponies to make sure they are not suffering in the heat. It may be necessary for some ponies to sit out the afternoon mounted session.

Wednesday afternoon we have a demonstration of western riding for everyone not doing their D and D Plus test to enjoy.

Thank you to everyone who lent a hand today – the first day is always frantic so we needed and appreciated all the help. See you all in the morning!!
