A great weekend for Wicklow kicked off on Saturday morning with all 10 of our C test riders passing with flying colors – Sean, Katie, Isabelle, Naoise, Aine, Cian, Sionna, Wolfi, Rachel and Aoife – well done to Sandra for her hard work the examiners were very complimentary – thank you to Olive for doing all the scheduling and for arranging a cake for Lynn Clement’s birthday – always pays to keep the examiners sweet! This year we have had 32 children pass their C test and 16 pass their C Plus.
Our under 12’s – Toni Jake and Emily – had a great day at Bunclody event on Saturday with Toni scoring a fantastic 22 in her dressage.
Ellen and Ciara did us proud at the Show Jumping Classic Final in Mullingar with both girls getting through to the jump off where Ellen pulled off the best result ever for Wicklow in the metre 10 Classic by winning in a time of 31.5 seconds which was 2 seconds faster than her nearest rival.
