Great to see so many members out and about this past week taking part in such a diverse range of activities. We had several in action at Tinahely RC’s Hunter Trials at Coolboy where Sean McN and Millie O’L did very well to place in the novice and open singles classes respectively. There was strong interest from the younger female members in our side saddle demonstration session at Ballyvolan featuring Shona C in full habit, top hat and veil. Also at Ballyvolan this week 9 of our C test holders, Emily, Cliodhna, Caoimhe, Jane, Eleanor, Lucy, Mollie, Robert and Sean passed their road safety test – well done to you all. 
On Thursday we brought a mini bus load for a very informative visit to the Army Equitation School, a bit of shopping in TRI and later to the Irish National Stud. Thank you to Niamh for helping with supervison. Many had their first taste of riding to hounds this week also so many thanks go to the Joint Masters of the Bray Harriers for their hospitality. On Friday we had a C Test Assessment with Sandra. Finally tetrathletes Robbie, Sean, Roisin and Isobel attended Pentathlon Ireland’s 2 day youth training camp at the National Sports Campus, Abbotstown for some intensive fencing, laser shooting and sports psychology.
